Located in lower Florence County, Florence School District 3 is the second largest of the five school districts in the county. It is positioned between Columbia and Myrtle Beach, S.C. The district is known for its rich legacy, producing notable alumni such as Challenger astronaut Dr. Ronald E. McNair and many professionals in medicine, law, education, and business.
To boost awareness and enrollment in its seven specialized College and Career Readiness programs at Lake City Early College High School, CTE Director Leon Burgess partnered with Rhodes Branding to develop effective and engaging marketing collateral.
Our work included producing 15-second program videos, a 2-minute “About Us” video, eye-catching promotional rack cards, and launching a comprehensive CTE microsite. The microsite serves as a centralized hub, featuring dedicated pages for each program, outlining course offerings, certifications, earning potential, and contact information, along with a news and events section for community engagement.
The video work gained industry-wide recognition from the American Advertising Federation (AAF), where the “Florence 3 CTE Series” received four Silver ADDY Awards in the Online Film, Video & Sound, Elements of Advertising, and Public Service – Film, Video & Sound categories, plus the prestigious Mosaic Award. The Mosaic Award, a special honor from the AAF, highlights creative work that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, recognizing the videos’ role in authentically amplifying the stories of Florence 3 students and CTE pathways.
This award-winning work underscores Florence 3's commitment to preparing students for real-world success and celebrates the power of storytelling in public education.
